Airports and Flights
The most convenient airport for international travelers is Palermo Airport (PMO - Falcone Borsellino Airport) which is located approximately 54 km (about 33 miles) from Scopello.

Rental Car
Renting a car at Palermo Airport provides flexibility to explore the region. The drive to Scopello takes approximately 50 minutes via the A29 motorway. There are numerous car rental options available throughout Sicily.
Please note: an international driving permit (IDP) is required for US citizens driving in Italy. These are easy to obtain in advance through AAA.

We recommend staying in Scopello, the nearest town to the venue. We will be providing a shuttle from Scopello to the venue for the wedding day.

Alternative Lodging
Both AirBnB and VRBO operate in Sicily, as well as many booking sites, so if you plan on renting a car, and exploring Sicily, or don't plan to take advantage of the hotel blocks provided in Scopello these are all great options!
